When we spend most of our time with cat, observe them carefully, we can found some interesting fact about cat habit. One of them is "need of private space". Place where they feel safe, and unbothered, where they can deep-sleep and recharge their energy. Because its a private space, they want it alone.
This is why often we see, can sleep in Box, container, or other tight space.
The keyword is "ALONE", paw-rent (cat owner) have to understand this; and not disturb them when they in their private space, having their deep-sleep. Provide them with proper space, use wire-crate, kennel, plastic crate, carton box, anything, and make it comfortable inside, so they wont hide in dirty space; and if they inside, we know that they want to be alone; they having me-time.
